Ingredients
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 3/4 teaspoon dry yeast
- 3/4 cup warm milk
- 1 cup greek yogurt
Directions
- Warm water + sugar + dry yeast, 10 minutes
- add to flour, baking soda + powder, add yoghurt and warm milk, knead, let sit for 1 hour
- divide into 8 baals, roll into oval shape, 1/4 inch thick (6.3 mm)
- brush with with melted butter / oil
- place in hot skillet, cover with a lid and bake for 1 minute, flip and cook for 1-2 minutes on the other side
