Malai Kofta

Ingredients
Kofta Balls
- 1 cup Paneer and 1 cup potato
- 1/2 tsp Chili powder and 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
- 3 tbsp chopped nuts and 3 tbsp coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp all purpose flour
- Salt and pepper
Kofta Base
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 Onion
- 1 - 2 cans tomatoes
- 1 inch Ginger 4 cloves Garlic (or ginger garlic paste)
- 1 tbsp Kashmiri Chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Garam masala powder
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 5 - 6 Cashews
Kofta Curry
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 Bay leaves, cinnamon stick, caradamom
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 3 Green chilies
- 1 tsp Kasoori Methi
- 2 tbsp Fresh cream
- 1/2 tsp Sugar or Honey
- Salt to taste
Directions
- combine all the ingredients for kofta balls and form medium sized balls, roll in flour and fry
- Make the base and grind it to a smooth paste
- Melt butter and and the whole spices, add masala paste and cook for few minutes.
- Finally add cream and crushed kasoori methi leaves for garnishing
- serve with rice or naan
